If you've ever been to a Bama game, you've more than likely had the pleasure of seeing this dear man in the sombrero (Brian Dawes). Brian loved the University of Alabama with all of his heart & soul. Sadly, he passed away this weekend at the young age of 44.
Brian returned home to Athens, AL from the Sugar Bowl & fell ill with pneumonia. After almost a week's stay in the hospital, he was discharged on Friday. To everyone's shock, he passed away just a day after coming back home. Brian never missed a Bama game, whether home or away ... blistering hot or frigid cold, he was always there to support our Tide.
