Yup, we had several inches one year and had a huge snow ball fight on the quad. Early 90's but forgot the year. When I was a student at Bama we had a big storm and several of us went into Bryant Denny stadium late at night to play football.
Of course this was before Global Warming and it all melted the next day.
"The frozen tundra of Bryant-Denny". Never thought I would hear that one. That is cool. Makes you feel like the packers are about to come out and play.

It was definitely 1993 in March, I believe. I was north of DC and we got about 2 feet of snow over the course of a day or so. It was a huge blizzard that blanketed much of the eastern part of the country.my guess is 1993. big time blizzard that year. I think Mobile even had an inch.
