Sid Caesar Dead at 91 --

Very funny guy. 91 years is a pretty good long life. Just shows how laughter can keep you healthy.
The woman in that clip is Imogene Coca, who played Aunt Edna in National Lampoon's Vacation. She lived into her 90s, too if I'm not mistaken.
Sad to hear, he was a great comedic talent.

From what I understand Stanley Kramer actually started off with a 6 hour long movie, which was ultimately edited to an approx. 3 hour released version.
There is a 4 hour "director's cut" available but I wonder where the other 2 hour's worth is?
Now that would be worth watching!
For now this is the holy grail 5 disc version available.
Sid Caesar (Melville Crump) was a replacement in IAMMMMW after Ernie Kovacs died in a car crash. Kovacs's wife, Edie Adams, remained in her part and played Caesar's wife (Monica Crump).
That's what I got. Got it about 2 weeks ago. I haven't started all the special features yet. Truly one of the greatest movies of all time if not THE greatest. I would have loved a 6 hour version with more cameos of the stars of the day.
