Shafontaye Myers paced Alabama with 15 points on her Senior Day to lift the Crimson Tide over No. 23 LSU, 78-60, Sunday at Foster Auditorium. With the Crimson Tide's first win against LSU since the 2002 season, Alabama finishes out its regular season at 14-15, while the Tigers drop to 18-11. Both teams finishing at 7-9 in Southeastern Conference play.

While they finished the regular season with a losing record, the women seem to have improved a lot since last year. Looks like the coaching change has paid off as they have pulled a couple upsets this year.

Coach Curry has done an amazing job. Changed the whole dynamic of the program. I was skeptical when he hired her from Texas Tech but we've done much better than I expected.
