I would like to believe that as a parent I could eventually find some way as well. I think the only thing that would make it easier is that the lawyer who represented her should have known better. While the bulk of the responsibility is on this young girl, culpability is definitely shared by one of the few adults in the situation who should have been removed enough from the situation to be objective.
