Game Thread: Game 1: UK @ Bama

Bama scored a run in the second to take a 1-0 lead. Wass a leadoff double and Haynie a 2 out RBI single.

Bottom of 4th, Bama gets a leadoff double but can't move him over and leaves him stranded at 2nd.

Top of the 5th the Cats load the bases with no outs, Bama turns a TRIPLE play to get out of trouble. Turnbull pitching fairly well so far.

Seven innings complete, Bama still up 1-0. Both pitchers doing well, each has given up just three hits. Was listening to the game on the radio, but now that I'm home I can't get enough of the signal to listen from inside and relegated to following on gametracker.

Bama wins game 1, 3-0.

Turnbull with the win, going 7.1 innings.
Burrows with the save, getting the final 1.2 innings.
Haynie with a homer.

Playing 2 tomorrow due to expected rain on Sunday.
