not sure what their angle was but it's pretty common that high school measurables are not as accurate.

NFL combine times are timed electronically. From the time you flinch the first muscle, the clock starts. HS times are almost always timed by movement, then the timers brain has to say "start the clock". Electronically timed 40s are a good bit slower than hand held. I have seen a kid electronically timed at 4.7 when same run was hand timed by others at 4.5 or so.
