How specialized are our RB workout programs? I was thinking back to intense offseason workout that LaDainian Tomlinson used to create balance and power.

I would definitely like to see "the hill" workout used to develop explosiveness. IMHO weight room warriors like Trent can be too narrowly focused on their training, especially when adding exercises that promote balance and protect joint integrity will prolong their career.
