UAB head coach interested in playing auburn at BJCC next season

I think Alabama should get in on this as well to raise excitement for basketball in the state.....we don't want to be the team that refuses to play other in state schools....it can certainly raise recruitment in state if we are the best team in state by beating the others yearly

We've consistently gotten the best players in the state since Grant has been here

Frankly, if we never play UAB, I'm fine with it. I'll cheer for UT before I'll cheer for them - and Birmingham is my home.

Evidently getting the "best" in the State is working on the court, maybe we should look outside. Pearl is interested in getting talent from the Atlanta area, he's not sticking to local talent. I don't think we should either.
