I see where they are coming from but I'd bet the end result would be Universities not giving scholarships, Unions collecting dues, and Uncle Sam with his hand out for Federal Tax.
Then states are likely to want to tax them too. I don't think players want this.
Players would have to earn 75 to 100 grand to pay for college plus the tariffs they will incur.
Like other things the unions will want other sports too...
Do we pay Football players more than the Gymnastics team? Better not go there...
For these reasons I see unionization as a high hurdle to clear.
Has everyone thought this thru?
Tell me I'm wrong, cause I really hope I am.
