My first thought was that he's probably thinking the kid needs a haircut. Then I tried to figure out where he was looking. I kinda looks like the kid might have his hand on the girl's backside.
The picture looks photoshopped already. He looks to be super small compared to both his daughter and her date.
Assuming this is for real, I don't think making jokes involving his daughter and her prom are appropriate

He looks way more calm than I will be when my Baby Girls start dating..I have a pickle jar ready to be filled with their PeePee's, should these young punks, mess around with my Baby Girls once they start dating..Good God I don't even wanna think about that..My Blood Pressure is rising as I'm typing this & thinking about when that day comes..
If you read the link, it wasn't photoshopped, but it was staged (presumably as a joke). That's how I interpreted it in any case.
