For Georgia receiver Jonathon Rumph, the difference between this spring and last spring is like the distance between Athens and his hometown of Cayce, S.C., which, for the record, is about 160 miles.
A junior-college transfer from Holmes (Miss.) Community College, the 6-foot-5, 208-pound Rumph was challenged by the Bulldogs’ playbook last spring, but turned in a notable performance at G-Day, catching four passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns.
