No real surprise here. Can't really expect prime-time billing when one of the teams is a non-traditional power coming off of a 4-8 season.
Haven't seen any early betting lines, but you have to figure we'll be a 14-21 point favorite.

we better be prepared, because WVU is one of those schools that is known for being involved in crazy games and for beating people when they aren't supposed to have a chance.
if we come out and play the way we did against Va Tech and we can easily lose.
Anybody has to always be ready to play...we have too many games in recent memory when the big boy was upset by the sisters of the poor.
However, I suspect we'll give WVa. a heavy dose of Derek Henry and TJ Yeldon early and often and mix in a few quick passes to Amari Cooper and company and that ought to get the job done!!!
This game will be a great test for us. Their offense likes to go fast and is pretty multiple, which should be a challenge for our defense. And although they may not be the biggest, toughest team out there, WVU is a legit FBS team and our OL will have to show up and perform if we are going to establish the LOS consistently.
sure, they surprisingly beat Okla St at home last year but that was the first game in over 30 years they won as a big underdog of 15+ points
WVU have a ton of issues but one bright spot is RB even with the loss of Sims. They get the Pitt transfer (and ex-Bama recruit) Rushel Shell this year along with Buie but with their massive QB problems and inability to defend it shouldn't be enough.
but WVU is far from having the tag of "giant killer"....

. Let's not forget the viles to. Uthug plays OU as an OOC and they feel like they have the toughest OOC schedule in the SEC. Good on them but it would look better if they could win. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not to derail this thread, but, would anyone have any suggestions on where to purchase tickets for this game? Is StubHub the best/only place? I've never been to a game before but live in NE Georgia and this one is much closer than Tuscaloosa. Thanks for the help!
