They already advertise Viagra and other ED drugs. I just saw a Trojan Vibrations advertisement. I'm just waiting for a porn website to be advertised.

Getting a little impatient about that day, eh? I assume you are speaking of heterosexual porn. It may take longer for gay porn ads to make it to CBS.

10 years, maybe sooner. Look at what has changed in the last 20 - dialogue in shows now that wouldn't have passed the censor's scissors 20 years ago. It's, uh, "coming".....

We were talking about this the other day. We were discussing the movie Blazing Saddles and the different scenes that were added in the made for TV version. I was talking about seeing additional scenes when Sheriff Bart was taking on Mongo, and everyone else had never seen the scenes I was talking about.

We looked it up and found that there were several added scenes in the made for TV version as well as deleted "curse words". They deleted the word "screw" when Bart asked the Waco Kid what he liked to do ("play chess....screw")Overall there were several curse words omitted that we don't give a second thought to when we hear it on TV today.

However, the derogatory use of the 'N' word as well as other slang racist words for other nationalities were left uncut for public TV back in the 70's. Big difference from today. The modern airing of Blazing Saddles on TV has those words deleted now IIRC, but the curse words are accepted.

Heck there is dialogue in commercials that wouldn't have been on prime time 9pm slots 10 years ago --

I think the Liquid Plumber ads about snaking the drain -- is pretty close to porn.....while still wearing clothes
