I've pretty much resigned to this fate too. I'd consider going the cable route, if I had that option, just because it's easier to go to cable and back to satelite than satelite to satelite, but I don't have a cable option. I'm not planning to go back to Dish right now over this.

I just hope they get it done. If not, I'll live without seeing one game live.

I'm calling DTV and tell them I'm switching. Know a couple of people that did that and they knocked $30 a month off their bill for 12 months. I've heard others say this also but take it for what it's worth.

Where are they advertising this? I haven't seen any ads on regular programming or seem to get any actual information from their horribly confusing website.

I have the U300 package and hear through the grapevine that it will be included, but can't seem to find any confirmation for this from the horse's mouth (i.e. U-Verse).

ESPN story

ESPN, Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks have reached an agreement for carriage of the SEC Network when the channel launches on August 14, 2014. The network will be available to fans and followers of the Southeastern Conference in all Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks markets ahead of the first SEC 2014-15 college football season game, Texas A&M vs. South Carolina, on August 28 at 6 p.m. ET. With the addition of Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks, the SEC Network will be available to approximately 60 million households nationwide.

It always works if you are out of contract and most of the time if you are in contract. Customer acquisition is their greatest expense.
