The line is a bit too high for my liking. I don’t really think anything of West Virginia, but we have uncertainty at QB, some real offensive line issues, and our lack of pass defense has to be a concern, especially in the season opener going against such a wide-open offensive attack.
I think we’ll win with ease, but 24 points is a really big spread to cover. I wouldn’t be overwhelmingly shocked if we covered, but I’m certainly not putting any money on it happening either. Something in the neighborhood of 16-18 points seems a lot more reasonable to me.
