Unless there are factors that have yet to come to light, it should never have happened to begin with.
Then again, this was in New England "Where people come together to change the world."

The fact that the doctors were so arrogant as to not only dismiss other treatment plans, but "ban" the parents from seeking a second opinion and taking their child from the hospital is ridiculous. They should be stripped of their licenses to practice medicine, the judge should be disbarred and the CPS workers that went along with this rouse should be fired and all should be thrown in jail. Usurping a parent's right to make medical decisions for their child is not something the state should be doing.

It's about damn time. Never should have happened. I hope they get a record verdict in the lawsuit(s). I hope that the "child welfare" agency in the state is found unconstitutional and the law creating it struck from the books.
