I have a solution. Let's bring the entire population of Africa to the US so they'll be safe.
Yah, I agree. With post-infection symptom onset of two weeks, there could be carriers all over the place that haven't popped up yet. Just be thankful this is happening in Africa and not a first-world country (where people travel far more)...What is surprising at this point is that is hasn't broken out of Africa...yet.
I don't guess anybody has developed a vaccine yet for Ebola, huh? That might be a worthwhile thing to look into.Yah, I agree. Nope, no vaccine, no treatment - if you get it, you have to hope your body can fight it off, and few seem to have that capability...I don't guess anybody has developed a vaccine yet for Ebola, huh? That might be a worthwhile thing to look into.
Couldn't a vaccine be made from NYBF's blood?Nope, no vaccine, no treatment - if you get it, you have to hope your body can fight it off, and few seem to have that capability...
Yes, but they have to discover a material that's able to pierce his skin first.Couldn't a vaccine be made from NYBF's blood?
Oh yah. Like I said, luckily this is happening in W Africa - most anywhere else in the world and this could be unfolding like a movie. If this outbreak spreads, I'd look for travel restrictions and quarantines.
Unfortunately, much like Chuck Norris, NYBF doesn't bleed.Couldn't a vaccine be made from NYBF's blood?
"The Hot Zone" is hands down the scariest book I've ever read.Read the book "The Hot Zone" to understand how this virus attacks the body and the history of trying to figure out where it originates. Frightening stuff.

Problem solved.
http://news.msn.com/science-technology/nigeria-death-shows-ebola-can-spread-by-air-travelNigerian health authorities raced to stop the spread of Ebola on Saturday after a man sick with one of the world's deadliest diseases brought it by plane to Lagos, Africa's largest city with 21 million people.
The fact that the traveler from Liberia could board an international flight also raised new fears that other passengers could take the disease beyond Africa due to weak inspection of passengers and the fact Ebola's symptoms are similar to other diseases.
Officials in the country of Togo, where the sick man's flight had a stopover, also went on high alert after learning that Ebola could possibly have spread to a fifth country.
I want about 2.5 billion...but I'm greedy that way.I think they're up to about 1,200 infected and 700 dead now.
