Poll: Which victory over Florida was the best

To go away from the coker vs sims and the last two games of the season what ifs; I thought about asking y'all's opinion on our past. And since Florida is on our schedule and we have some great games with them, I thought why not start there.

Out of these choices which is the best UA vs UF victory to you
And why
A) 1992 SECCG
B) 1999 Victory in the Swamp
C) 2009 SECCG
D) other

Mine is the 1999 game in the swamp because growing up it seem Florida was almost unstoppable and the fact they were on a ridiculous home winning streak and us losing to LATech it just seemed we were going to lose. But we prevail despite the fact that CMD decided to punt with very little time left and no timeouts. Game nearly gave me a heart attack at a young age.

C. And it's not even close. The best overall performance in the Saban era, and one of the best in our history, against a great opponent.

2009 by a mile. 2005 would be closer but Tyrone Prothro suffered probably the worst injury any Alabama player has ever had. I'd say had that been 50 years earlier he might have died.

1992 was probably the most important win over Florida. That would have been a devastating loss and eliminated the one national title between the Bryant and Saban eras.

E) all of the above - every victory over the gators from the spurrier era and forward is nice in its own right; the three you mention each have their own specific significance relative to the time they were played.

1999 in the swamp for me. SA was a beast that day and, IMHO, the OT win was of the most thrilling games in my lifetime to watch. Right up there with the Barker - Zier (sp) game with UGA. Maybe not the biggest in terms of launching us to a championship but it was thrilling to watch.

Tie. 1999 in the Swamp because it snapped their home win streak. Tied with the 1999 SECG because 1) no one thought we could beat Florida twice in the same year (it was unthinkable at the time) 2) I was there and 3) not only did we beat Florida, we dominated them.

How many times did we beat spurrier when he was at Florida? Because I know we won in 92 and 99 twice and lost 90,
91,93,94,96,and 98

Definitely 2009...the others were before my time as a fan. But 2009, was really a message to everyone on what Saban can do and prepare for.

2009 easily. Besides the 2011 win against LSU in the BCSNCG, it was the most dominating performance against a great team that Bama has ever had. Both 1999 season game (in the Swamp) and the SEC Championship game against UF are tied for #2.
