Breakout True Freshman?

Which true freshman do you think will stand out and make a big impact throughout the year? Last year its seems as if King Henry could have played earlier but didn't know the plays.
Why does everybody assume Tony Brown will start and not Marlon Humphrey? What about Scarborough and Deshawn Hand?

I think both Tony Brown and Humphrey will see substantial playing time, and, from the physical skills I've seen, I think Brown is an incredible talent--But DeShawn is my pick. He is just simply a perfect physical specimen for the defensive end position--quick, fast, and big, and I can see him being a pass rush specialist as a freshman, and a three down All-American by his junior season.
Time will tell. I also have a feeling that Derek Keif may contribute more than expected.

For us, the best case scenario would be for either Brown or Humphrey to have a breakout season as the secondary is a question mark. My bet is on Brown because he enrolled in January and has had time to learn the playbook. Hand, Evans, or Miller are good bets as well, but our front seven is so loaded with talent and depth it will be difficult for any freshmen to get on the field. I wouldn't be surprised if Scarborough supplanted Drake or Tennpenny as the number three back. I think he's that good.

Darkhorse pick would be Josh Frazier. He's as talented as we've signed at the NG position and Ivory's play has not been consistent.

Well, you obviously have the usual suspects: Hand, Humphrey, and Brown.

If I'm picking more of a surprise one, I'd go Ronnie Clark. He has the size to contribute right away, he appears to have a really good attitude, and he has elite athleticism. Also, we are a bit thin at safety. So, it would make sense to get him some playing time this year.

Brown went through Spring practice while Humphrey didn't. Scarborough just has a lot in front of him, but he could play. Hand really looks like he will be playing.

On offense the individual with the best chance to show out is Robinson. I say this becasue depth will be a issue for the skill guys. On defense it could be several, Brown and Humphrey certainly will have chances to shine because of recent cb play. Hand is a beast, Evans and Miller will have a chance a lb as both seem to fit the mold of the type of player it takes to slow down the HUNH stuff these days. Clark could certainly make noise as well. With our special teams play not being to special recently, the diamond of this class may be the punter Scott,especially since we were using Morris to punt in A day. I wonder if he can kick field goals,it maybe worth a look if he can.

I agree about Tony Brown. He's a rare type talent at the CB position. On the offensive side its hard not to go with Big Cam. I believe Hand and Evans will get opportunities to rush the passer. If they are successful early on they could make an impact. Finally, if Bo can qualify he may see some carries and along with Hootie, Ronnie Clark, and Humphreys will make lots of plays on ST.
