I had just been born and was with my mom in the hospital while she watched this. I don't remember much of it though

I was living in Norfolk at the time and watched it in a Highs Ice Cream store - they had a little black and white TV up in the corner.

Seems like only yesterday in certain respects....

I wish we would go back to the moon.

So the story goes, my father checked us out of our hotel at the Jersey Shore as I would not stop running by the pool. I was 1 at the time and our vacation ended pretty quicky.

I remember my brothers had to use those for their trig classes in high school. by the time I hit high school, they had invented one of the great inventions of the 20th century, the TI-30.

I had one of those in college, but they still required us to learn to use a slide rule.

I had a Ti-55-II in HS ('81-'85) for Trig, Physics, etc. It was a beaut, but because it was programmable we had to let the teacher check to make sure it was clear before tests. I was in one of the first generations to do without the slide.
