They're dropping like flies.

COLLEGE STATION - Texas A&M defensive lineman Gavin Stansbury has left the team to attend to personal matters, head football coach Kevin Sumlin announced Monday.
...

Stansbury is part of a long list of Aggies arrested this off season. He was arrested in April on a Harris County warrant on assault charges. Police at Rice University say Stansbury poured beer on a student’s head and then punched him in the face.
At this rate, they may be starting cardboard cutouts on the defense. Which would probably be an improvement.

One of the things you have to do as a head coach is field a defense. Sumlin seems to have trouble with that. It seems as if the defense is getting worse.

Had a DB suspended today for shoplifting. The SC game could get ugly quickly! I hope Ole Spurrier hangs 70 on them!

This badly hurts an already thin defense. They essentially have to go injury-free to hope to filed a D as 'good' as last years'...

Without 3 first rounders on offense, I'm curious to see how they'll cover their already weak defense. With these arrests/suspensions, I am starting to think they may slip to 7 wins.

You can't predict performance 100% accurately before the season...TAMU D could double down with who they've got and be good enough to get by. But even the partisans have to worry about all the players they're losing on an already struggling unit from 2013.

Well they could possibly get any worse. A&M recruited heavily on defense this past year. They also still have some pretty great skill players. 9 wins is probably the best they can do.

We all know the chances of going through a season without injury is slim to none. This departure along with any others between now and the opening game will be devastating to A & M.

It's time for aTm to pay some dues for joining the SEC. They made a big spash with their Heisman quarterback, now I expect them to settle into 7 or 8 win seasons on a regular basis.

DIRECTV needs to step up to the plate or they are about to lose a long time customer
