All that training and he works at a gas station? Should have went to his local community college and got a nursing degree.
My guess is his family owns the station. A lot of Sri Lankans own/lease stations.

Or they had cased the shop to know when the bank run is done. Criminals try to prey on weak targets and if not for this clerk, they likely would have succeeded.

This will more than likely get more and more common as more people are enrolling in mixed martial arts training. Numerous MMA gyms have popped up around here and they are packed. Where my son takes Karate (Ishinryu) their enrollment has skyrocketed over the last three years forcing them to have to hire three new teachers. If you ever get a wild hair and feel like getting froggy. You better be careful because the MMA dudes can seriously mess you up.
