JUCO RB Jovon Robinson Commits to Auburn (Page 4)

I don't know how far this will go, but I thought it was interesting.

"Robinson (5-11, 220) will be eligible to transfer to an NCAA program in December of 2014 and said in April that he'd like to go to Alabama."

Don't bet big on this one. Lots of good ones already at Alabama, the Memphis and grades situation . . .etc.

If he graduates JuCo, grades wouldn't be an issue. Whether or not our coaches would be interested is the issue.

Just saying we will, not saying we need him. Plus I'm holding out for one guy in LA.

Could be a fallback in case we miss on lf or lose Bo. Or both

Best of luck to him, but he's not coming to 'Bama.

My thoughts exactly. Putting aside any baggage, he'd be in the same class as most of our other guys. If we take a RB in this class, it's a true freshman so that we have some staggered depth at the position by eligibility.

He wouldn't be in this class anyway. He's not eligible to transfer until December of 2014 and he could redshirt.

Are there any character concerns with him?

247 says Bama offered him. All 10 Crystal Ball predictions on his 247 page are for Alabama. Here's his profile for those wanting it.

He was named Spalding® NJCAA Offensive Player of the Year and a first-team NJCAA All-American
"I don't know what class is but I can tell when one has it, you can tell from a mile away"
    -- Coach Bryant

"We always talk about playing 60 minutes but this is a 60-10 game: the 60 minutes of the game and the 10 minutes in the locker room after the game that you remember for the rest of your life."
-- Nick Saban day after beating Clemson
