Giraffe dies after striking its head on bridge while being transported

Tragedy for sure, but this picture is sort of funny. I guess this is the first time I've seen giraffes being transported.
ya know i have always wondered how they transport giraffes, low bridges and all.
You'd think the driver would exit off the highway and get back on, avoiding the bridges. But then you got power lines and red lights, so I guess they were doomed either way.
Mrs. VJ and I were talking about this last night. You'd think they would have placed enough value on the giraffes that they would have mapped out the route, avoiding any low clearance obstacles like bridges. Rather it seems somebody told the driver "Take them straight to the cages, and don't stop for no liquor!"
Decidedly, the motivational poster in the boss' office "Proper Planning Prevents P--- Poor Execution" didn't sink in that day.
In other words, this was a FUBAR.
