Sounds like he's trying to manage expectations, and maybe egos there a bit at the end. Works for me.
Greg has all the tools to be a big-time game caller and analyst. He is easy to listen to, and frames good questions.
I agree...I am glad that he was signed on. I think he will go far and become one of the major analysts as the years go on.
2 minutes? That was like giving a starving man one saltine cracker.

For a guy who is breaking into the business, he's got some serious upside. TV execs love former players and being a NC qb at Bama who played under CNS gives him a serious headstart in the business.
Once he refines some of the rough edges and finds his groove. He's going to be really good. BTW, McElroy's going to be a good analyst as well. :biggrin2:

I wasn't sure if it had already been posted but it was so cool to listen to Coach Saban talk "X's and O's" I had to post it. Plus having Greg sitting next to him - their relationship - and his upcoming SEC network position - I mean the whole thing is just doggone cool!
Speaking of dogs...my favorite part is from 1:45 to the 2 minute mark..."What up dog?"....I've never heard coach say that before!
