May miss the entire 2014 season...after missing the entire 2013 season recovering from injury. I really hate that for Barrett. But it is what it is sometimes. He's a very bright (and classy) guy. He'll be successful in whatever he decides to do.

That really is too bad. Barrett is an outstanding guy.

That is sad, really. I hoped he would do big things, but that's the nature of the game we love.

I was wondering where he was all preseason. Hate it for the guy. Even if football isn't in the cards for him with his smarts he can do almost anything.
Sorry to hear that. i hope he has a full recovery. I read an article last week where a sports writer was criticizing his lack of effort during preseason and thought that this did not sound like the Barrett Jones that we know and love.
If playing football it not in the cards for him, I would love to see him in broadcasting, ESPN or the SEC Network. He did very well in the weekly spots that he appeared on Dari Nowkhah's show during the 2012 season
