Adam Griffith named SEC Special Teams Player of the Week

I am pretty excited about this guy. It was just one game, but this is the first season since Tiffin left that I have felt our kicking game is a strength that will help us win games instead of not lose them.
Shelley was good 35yds and in for the one season we sort of used him. We haven't had a consistent 40+ yd kicker since Tiffin, whom I felt comfortable giving a chance in the 50s.
Adam crushed every kick and it was beautiful.Looked like an NFL kicker to me.Hope he keeps it up.
Shelley was pretty reliable. He made 44 of 55 goals. I would say he had a great tenure with us. We basically won the 2011 National Championship with him.
I am so happy for Adam. When he stepped out there and nailed that first kick, he had an all business look on his face. I like it.
