hard to believe this game isn't on a better network. NBC? Don't they usually get the garbage games?

NBC has had a huge contract with Notre Dame since the 80's. About once a year they will get a ND prime time game that you would expect to be on ABC or ESPN.

I'm starting to get the sneaky suspicion that Notre Dame may actually be for real this year. Rice and Michigan aren't exactly top 10 opponents, but ND has still been looking really impressive. Gholson is actually more of a difference maker than I had given him credit for.

He didn't exactly get it done here either his last year. I don't want to derail the thread by any means, but his play calling left a lot to be desired at times. He was a good OC, but he was by no means a great one.
