I just read about this on USA Today. This is so sad. I have to deal with many custody issues as a principal and the school always gets stuck in the middle.

Whether he's sentenced to death or to decades in prison makes no difference. After he gets to prison, the above statement is almost certain.

AL.com article in which his old neighbor says he started to call the police on him once on a gun incident but didn't want to cause any trouble. Maybe those children would still be here if he had caused just a bit of trouble for this guy.
