Is it a night game? Maybe it's their stealth uni, harder for the Gators to see. It doesn't have as much gosh-awful orange as their usual togs.

I'm probably the only person on this board to hold this opinion but: I don't mind Tennessee's normal home uniforms. I-hate-orange jokes aside, I think the uniform is iconic and distinctive. There are no other uniforms that look like it, at least since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers retired their old uniforms.
But this monstrosity? Whew.

Are they playing football or on a nascar pit crew with those racing checkered flags for sleeves. In all honesty, they look like soccer jerseys.

Kentucky had a uniform last week like that. Except it was blue instead. It looks alot better blue than orange.
Well when you start with orange, you don't have much to work with in the way of improvement anyway.
I like it myself..Less orange the better I think..And the checkerboard pattern on the shoulder reminds the vols fanbase of their missing front teeth..It matches their smiles..LOL
That jersey would be better suited for a Rugby team, not a "major" collegiate football team.
