How hard would it be to run a NBA style offense or defense in college? Say for instance, the Spurs offense with its selfless passing, 3pt shooting and dishing to the post when the other team pulls out to guard the three.

Just curious...

NBA offenses are not very complicated at all as a whole. Very short sets (remember they have a shorter clock to work with so, it can't be to0 extremely complicated). There are a lot of two man games with a dish option and that is it. The college game does use a lot of those sets. the ball screen craze that college is going through right now is absolutely a result of it being used so much in the NBA. Personally I think it is way overused, especially when the screener doesn't roll to the basket or at least spins to try and block the defender. IMHO

What the spurs run would probably be better qualified as a college offense. they run a version of the motion offense made famous by one Bobby Knight.

The NBA defense rules are a lot stricter than college. They're designed to make scoring easier. You cant clog the lane like in college. You cant double-team away from the ball. They do let them play some zone now - the Spurs run zone a few trips each game.

That, and pretty much everybody in the NBA can score. :)

Edit. The way Parker gets in the lane he wouldn't be able to with college rules.
