Wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell ran on the side in practice Wednesday. “He’s moving better,” coach Mark Richt said. “I’m getting more and more encouraged.” Richt is “hopeful” that Mitchell who had arthroscopic knee surgery in late July to play next week against Vanderbilt. “I’ll betcha he could run a bomb, he could run a takeoff right now,” Richt said.
