By unofficial count, Auburn ran 43 plays out of that "base set," 8 plays out of a three-receiver set with a tight end, 7 plays of a 4-receiver set with two receivers on each side, 5 with a "trips" formation, 3 with both Artis-Payne and Corey Grant in the game together, 2 out of the Wildcat (unbalanced line), 1 out of the inverted wishbone or "diamond", 1 with an H-back, TE and "twins" to one side, and 1 with all 4 receivers to one side.
