Saban just said in his press conference freshman Ronnie Clark tore his achilles yesterday during RB drills. He was practicing at safety until Drake's injury. He was a very last resort, emergency RB.

Ronnie appeared destined for a redshirt and now there's no doubt.

Ronnie wasn't staying at RB. He moved there last week after Drake's injury. He's going to be a DB.

Man ... I hate to hear that for the young man. Was one of the players I was looking forward to seeing in action. Hoping and praying for a full recovery.

Sorry to hear this for Ronnie. He is a very talented kid but I think his best position will be at safety.
