Coming into the game Bama had had trouble running the ball, abysmal special teams, a sketchy secondary, turnovers galore and penalties aplenty.
I was one of those that thought it would be a loss. Bama played error free- no turnovers and no penalties. Bama could do whatever we wanted on offense, the defense played spectacular (including the secondary) and the special teams played well (except once the game was 59-0).
Bama played as well as it ever has. Yes, ever. I'd put that performance up against anything Bama has done. You can't count on a team playing that well when the past two weeks have been so poor.
