St. Louis Rams running back Tre Mason hadn't carried the ball in a meaningful game since he'd run 37 yards for a touchdown to put Auburn ahead of Florida State in the fourth quarter of the BCS national championship game on Jan. 6. After being inactive for his first four games in the NFL, Mason broke a 24-yard run in his first official pro rushing attempt on Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers.
