Cowherd says that stuff so people will listen to his reasoning the week before and then will listen to him the week after to see how he justifies how wrong he was. It gets him two good weeks of high ratings. Then he makes another prediction just as illogical and people will tune in again. Its the way he keeps the microphone in front of his face and money in his pocket.

He meant time of possession which UT won...barely because Bama score in 4 seconds on the first drive.

I know this one is done and over with but you notice he had to go on Finebaum's show to make this outrageous prediction to get some reaction. His show wouldn't get any feedback.
