Malcolm Mitchell used to be known mostly for catching footballs for Georgia. If he’s thought of now as the wide receiver who is in a women’s book club, that’s fine by him.
“I don’t care,” he said matter of factly. “It doesn’t matter.”
Mitchell joined a local club when a knee injury kept him off the field for more than a year, but three days after grabbing six receptions in a 34-0 rout at Missouri on Oct. 11, he was headed after practice to discuss the latest book selection: “The Girl He Left Behind” by JoJo Moyes.
