And according to Scab in the B'ham News, it started with a Hall of Fame Basketball Coach, Dean Smith, and football coach, Mack Brown. Coach Mack, did you implement this program at UT also?
Is this worse than the Penn State stuff? There are no pedophiles listed but apparently a lot of academic FRAUD and lack of INTEGRITY.

And to be fair, while it dated back to the Smith and Brown eras, there's no indication that either was directly involved or aware.
The only remaining on-campus target at this point is Ol' Roy. Not sure the university wants any part of that probe, but the Raleigh newspaper, which has been fighting the school's stonewalling over this from the start, will not be backing down.
Wow. This is just breathtaking on so many levels -- the breadth of it, the betrayal of the University's primary mission, the duration, the seeming business as usual attitude. People kid all the time about athletes getting away with easy stuff, but a class run by a department secretary? Come on.
This may be enough to even get the nzaa to rise up out of the coma they've been in since Scam and do something. I mean, the investigation part has already been done.

If they don't have to forfeit everything for the last 18 years....well...then Bama should reclaim their vacated and forfeited wins.
