"Flagship" university? Maybe 50 years ago. Go ask FSU, Miami, South Florida, Central Florida, Florida A&M, even Bethune Cookman, Florida Atlantic, Florida International...and...and I know I'm leaving some out. Get real Gators...Fame is fleeting.
Florida needs to ask the question, "why do Florida coaches want to leave after they become successful? (i.e. Spurrier and Meyer) The problem may be in the mirror. Florida just doesn't seem like a pleasant place to be a head coach.
