A kicker also needs the constant practice with the snapper and holder. I think that a couple of the misses that Adam has had this year have been due to poor snaps being high and/or a little behind the holder. If that happens, it can cause a timing and/or placement issue for the holder and kicker. I have wondered on the bad miss against Ole Miss (50 yard try) where Adam kicked the ground if the hold was not a good three inches or more in front of where Adam expected the ball to be placed.

I think it is hemorrhoids. If it was a groin injury, he would say that. Hemorrhoids is something you, as a 20 year old kid, would be horrified if it was mentioned. haha. Sorry. But that is my guess.

I think it best not to speculate what the issue may be. Let's hope for a quick recovery because we will need him with the gauntlet we face.
If Adam is reading this thread...I bet he hopes some more people would speculate something other than hemorrhoids. :smile:
Maybe he twisted an ankle making a tackle and Saban wants to keep it quiet. I agree it's good news it's a physical problem rather than a mental block.
I know a kid who's a walk-on at Miss. State from a local HS here who can fill the bill if we need him.

Oh good Lordt. I had no idea saying the "H" word would ruffle so many feathers. CNS has never sugar coated an injury before so it made me think it was something that may be a little, well, like Lord Voldemort--which apparently amongst mostly men, it clearly is. :redface: LOL! Y'all are too serious. I'm sure he is too young to suffer from those anyway. Whatever it is, I hope he heals up quickly.

I had a groin injury in high school playing the wide receiver position.....and it hurt to run. So, I can't imagine trying to kick (if that's what it is). Poor guy, I know how he feels...Get well soon Adam..
It's normal.. the way I think it happened is when he sustained the injury *whistling * with a woman... * runs away before everyone stones me*
