Do you agree with this list? http://greatamericansportsnetwork.com/ranking-sec-towns/ I would have Nashville way higher and College Station lower for sure.
I've always kind of liked knoxville, but it is because of its proximity to great mountains and rivers and not because of the town itself.I haven't been to Knoxville (#3???) in quite a while, but both times I was there it was a dump. The only positve thing about it is that they have a river. I'm surprised Oxford is down at #10. I'd pretty much agree with Stark Vegas at #14.
I agree that Knoxville has the best location but I've just never liked it. OTOH I love Nashville and don't really care for country music, it's just a great city, but it's definitely note a college town.I've always kind of liked knosville, but it is because of its proximity to great mountains and rivers and not because of the town itself.
Well, when you're in a cesspool, toilet paper is important.Funny how the plus given to Auburn was the toilet paper hanging.
I personally think that College Station is at the bottom.I've been to College Station...dammit, my son is there now. He's converting. As for great college town? Uh, no. Although the Presidential library is pretty cool.
