Not then. Nothing was certain at that pointWhen Foster gave the big hit on the return...I knew we would win in OT. We had the momentum.
Ruben was sho' nuff the retro-rocket that fired 'Bama into playoff orbit - play of the game for momentum and, attitude adjustment.Think the Foster hit on Fourneaux (sp) loosened us up a bit and got us fired up. As far as I'm concerned that was the play of the day.
Pray for usFrom the Rev, all y'all Bama fans need to be in church tomorrow. Come to mine and I will gladly welcome you!

I just had a feeling. Just like I knew we wouldn't win in OT in 2011. They had the momentum then. Not then. Nothing was certain at that point
I REALLY liked our chances when we got the TD in OT.
He has to be one of the players of the game!Ruben was sho' nuff the retro-rocket that fired 'Bama into playoff orbit - play of the game for momentum and, attitude adjustment.
Hard to believe a special teams tackle on the last play in regulation was the spark we needed, but I think you're right.Ruben was sho' nuff the retro-rocket that fired 'Bama into playoff orbit - play of the game for momentum and, attitude adjustment.
I will confess that for the first time in history, I basically gave up. I did not at any time criticize the team or anything. But the way LSU was playing - blowing us off the line like I haven't seen in who knows when - and how listless our offense was - I figured they'd plow right into the end zone and put a seven spot on us.
When the penalty moved them back 15, I did say it "could" get interesting at that point.
But if we win it all this year, I guess we need to invite LSU's kicker and the dude who got the penalty called on him to the parade. Without them we wouldn't have won.
So yes - for the first time in my life, I did give up on the Tide. But look how little time was left and how much better they had looked before judging me too harshly.
when we got the td i knew it was over. i normally like to see my team go on defense first but I have changed my mind. Not then. Nothing was certain at that point

No he still hasn't passed him yet in catches or receiving yards yet. Just in TD's.I'm glad Cooper has replaced DJ hall in the record book. IMO hall was part of the problem while he was here.
I think it deserves a few Alma Mater's as well...Say four Roll Tides and one Rammer Jammer and all will be forgiven my son.
