Anybody else think he may well end up being considered the best punter in UA history? I`m struggling to remember one better and I`ve been watching UA football since 1958.

He should be an NFL punter right? If so...would that be the first Alabama punter in the NFL ever?

I seem to recall Daniel Pope punting for the Chiefs. And I think PJ Fitzgerald punted in the NFL for a while.

Chris Mohr was pretty solid for a while. He finished up at Alabama in 1988 and spent 16 years in pro football. Played in a few Super Bowls too.

If he keeps going like this, he'll actually be drafted. I don't think you ever see punters drafted.

He's right up there. Chris Mohr is one I haven't seen mentioned yet. Had a great pro career as well.

I place Scott and FSU's FG K Aguayo on similar levels when it comes to consistent ST dominance. We are so fortunate to have him when we need the field flipped.

Scott made us look good today when the offense stalled. Their playbook shrinks inside their 20. He was terrific. His average would be a lot higher if he didn't have to pull the string on pooch punts and nail them on the 5. Another Ray Guy in my book.

Yep. You go out there and punt with a torn ACL on your plant leg & make tackles you're a full grown man.

Oakman's Brian Diehl was good during the Stallings era. Played for the Giants for a while.

Greg Gantt played a couple of years for the NY Jets in the mid 70s.

Led the SEC in punting three consecutive years, but is better known for one particularly rough Saturday In December of '92.

Greg Gantt was the best we ever had. Scott is good, very good , when he leads the sec for three years straight he'll be in Gantts league.
