on the plane back from dubai i sat next to a gator fan and we talked about muschamp for a while. he hates him, but was thinking that they would keep him and he was actually hoping that they lost all their remaining games so that muschamp would get the boot

Spurrier knew it yesterday after the game. Maybe as an Alumnus, someone told him or reached out to him, Spurrier in his post game said he felt really bad for Will losing like they did.
Will sounded defeated at press conference, I guess he had an agreement with Foley he had to win out to keep his job. He actually resigned. By force.

Right. Can't have the ball and the lead with 40 secs left and lose the game at home. You can't have the lead and driving to score in the final minute against LSU and lose, at home. You can't give up 119 total yards to Mizzou at home and get blown out. You just can't .
