If Bama lost to AU and Miss beats Miss St. Does Miss go to the SECCG because they are 2-0 vs Bama and Miss St? Have not seen anyone discuss this one. I assume thats the tie breaker and it does not go to SEC East records.

I think that's right. They don't go to the SEC East records unless there's a 4-way tie. I think.

Actually, no we dont. The first tie breaker is.
A. Combined head-to-head record among the tied teams
Bama and MSU would be 1-1
Ol Miss would be 2-0 and get the tie breaker
We'd better beat AU then. I don't think I could live in a world where Ole Miss was SEC champion.
Yep it's basically, if we lose the iron bowl the winner of the egg bowl is division champ

Well, Danny Kannell would be happy if Auburn beat Alabama and Ole Miss beat State because it would effectively eliminate all SEC teams from the playoffs.
Well, that game is played before the Iron Bowl, so one of the two will be waiting with bated breath for our result. That's the great thing about controlling your own destiny: win and you're in.
