Back in gear next week with Gameday in TTownOverall disappointed in the signs, alThough some were clever. The enthusiasm for The Game just didn't seem to be there. The GD crowd was not energetic. What happened to the DJ on the show from earlier this year? She did not last long. Seems like if there are no big SEC games , there is little interest in Gameday.
I thought they were going to the Egg BowlBack in gear next week with Gameday in TTown
Probably not since Ole .... has tanked worse than the Barn.I thought they were going to the Egg Bowl
They really would. They'd lose that too!
That would've been the doings of the MIT Beavers in their bi-annual Egghead Bowl devoted to disrupting The Game when it's at The Stadium. MIT which by the way is making their first-ever appearance in an NCAA football playoff (DIII) even though they've had to give up their home-field advantage of playing at Steinbrenner Stadium (yes, that Steiny, the patron) as they go into the playoffs. That Harvard / Yale prank they just covered was incredible! Wow!
Harvard has 6 players on their team with USCF ratings above 2000. The entire state of Alabama only has about a dozen. They really would.
People outside of the SEC don't realize that just because the SEC is dominant in football (and of course Kentucky rules the basketball world) they think play football is all we do. Those IVY league folk don't understand that alot of SEC college students are very smart students that have done amazing things!
While there are a lot of smart people in the Ivies (and other elite universities), a great deal are there due to family connections or because they check enough PC boxes. Congress and the Executive Office are full of these elites. These are two of the dumbest institutions in the country. They really would.
