Solid workouts for our second and third strings. Some good play and some sloppiness from our first. Plenty to work on, with no apparent losses to injury. I'll take it.

Coach saban should have gone for his knees instead of shaking his hand.
Dnt know what was discussed in the game thread, but it seemes like WCU were gojng for the knees in tackling and blocking. Dont know why theses SOCON teams do this when playing the big boys. Remembe a few players from the Citadel pretty much admitting trying to do that gainst FSU.

Injuries aside, this was definitely better than a practice as our D got to work against an offense similar to Auburn's. Wasn't always pretty; but gives the coaches a lot on film to work with the guys on.

Other than the injuries it was the perfect win. Lots of mistakes to coach up and we got some key players, especially Coker, some quality reps and confidence!

Slow sloppy start against a scrappy and loose team. You have to believe we were a pretty tired team after battling LSU and Miss St. Good to see a lot of play from guys that are going to really contribute in the future. RTR

Not good with Vogler. He is our best in line blocker at TE. He had no business being out there today at all since he had already been a bit nicked up.

My positive takeaways were C.Sims and Ar.Stewart are both going to be weapons at WR going forward. Hopefully Stewart will be okay. Even if he misses the barn game he could really help fill the Drake roll in the SECCG and the Playoff....

AND....Tyren Jones MY GOODNESS!!!! He's going to wreck the SEC the next two years. He's a step quicker Mark Ingram wearing a different number :D

Bad takeaway.....the DB's STILL not looking for the ball. They have to look next week because NM is the king of 'close your eyes' hail mary passes and D.Williams and Coates are HUGE WR's. They will come down with jump balls if our guys don't look.....or we will keep getting flagged for PI. We have to start looking.
