I'm with you. This doesn't sound much like the Ivan Maisel I am used to reading.
The devil is in the details. This argument about the ACC going 4-0 against the SEC is ridiculous. Florida, Kentucky, Georgia, and South Carolina. If I'm not mistaken, the only SEC team favored last weekend was Georgia.
Lets see: the kings of the ACC almost went down to a FL team with 4 conference losses, Clemson beat a SC team that was 3-5 in the SEC this year, Louisville barely beat a Kentucky team that was 2-6 in the SEC this year....
What do they have to brag about again?
You don't understand? Let me lay it out for you.
The best running backs in the FBS play in the Big Ten. The best quarterbacks are in the Pac-12. So are the best defensive linemen. The ACC skunked you 4-0 this past Saturday. The Big 12 is the only conference with a chance of putting two teams in the playoff.
Notice that the author left out the Best WR...... just picking and choosing his "facts"What flawed reasoning.
its good being the top dog. we have been the standard of excellence since 2008-2009 and that is not going to change anytime soonthis is all the medias fault
they were all so ready to prove that Alabama was done that they held up anyone promising in the SEC as the "Alabama successor" when those teams inevitably failed or were beat by us they couldn't admit to being wrong so they simply proclaim that the SEC is over instead
whatever. Move along nothing to see here
i understand the sentiment. i loathed lsu while saban was there and i despised uscw during their (relatively short ) time in the limelight. These guys like Ivan Maisel play to the masses. It's popular right now to bash the SEC and so he obviously felt the need to do a hit piece.
All we have to do is win to shut these guys up. He has Alabama and SEC fatigue.
Click bait indeed!
And that's clearly prohibited in our site policies (and copyright laws)...Luckily, our good friend, Loam, posted the whole article to avoid us having to do that. Otherwise, I wouldn't have read it as it's just what you said.
Interesting from a guy from Mobile...
Agreed - he has historically been pro-Alabama and pro-SEC.This doesn't sound much like the Ivan Maisel I am used to reading.
